KARNERTA has been dedicated to high-quality, local foods for seventy years. The modern company based in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee employs 255 dedicated, highly trained employees in production and sales. The regional products are sold in eight exclusive specialist stores in Carinthia, Styria and East Tyrol. And with six branches throughout Austria, customers in the hotel and restaurant industry are supplied with first-class regional meat, fresh pasta and freshly caught fish.

Farms from the region that are dedicated to species-appropriate animal husbandry provide us with the raw materials. And we process each animal respectfully according to the nose-to-tail principle. This sends a clear sustainable signal. And our range reflects this attitude: our range includes not only classics such as schnitzel, but also specialties such as tongue, cheek, leg meat and liver.

The pinnacle of enjoyment is certainly our Dry Aged Beef. Through traditional maturing, the best cuts from local oxen and veal develop their unique, intense aroma. And, of course, our handmade sausages and bacon specialties, which are made with masterly skill according to traditional recipes, are not to be missed.
